This role will allow you to flex those creative muscles by promoting FAIR and clean core concepts to evolve and sustain our commercial data ecosystem in support of analytics and new AI/ML capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the DevOps and client-facing lead for our commercial Data Management product teams group, aligning technical delivery with commercial data and analytics business objectives while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- Create roadmaps with Technology, AI&D, and Commercial leaders to implement and maintain next generation of data and analytics platforms and technologies
- Plans closely with Technology and AI&D leadership across the Enterprise to drive development of new capabilities and/or continuous improvement, focused on Data Management
- Develops cross-functional governance plans to ensure executive alignment of technology prioritization for Global Commercial Capabilities & Innovation (GCCI). This includes active relationship-building and engagement with leadership at AVP and ED level and down.
- Conducts joint-planning with Technology and business owners to mature and evolve the operating model using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Drives culture of continuous improvement by automating DevOps processes and driving standard and efficient compliance with global information protection
Manages a team of Product Owners that drive prioritization and delivery execution across the portfolio - Drive the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of scalable data and analytics platforms and reusable accelerators that enable and increase the value of application and product teams
- Co-ordinate end-to-end service delivery from the acquisition and cataloguing of data to the ingestion, quality control, and readiness of that data for consumption into capabilities utilized by GCCI
Mandatory skills and qualifications:
- 14-17 years of relevant experience in data management with focus on Commercial D&A
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale DevOps operations via agile product teams
- Experience leading cross-functional technologists in an agile operating model
Proficiency using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data engineering solutions and Databricks. Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles and cost optimization strategies. - Experience managing commercial data platform operations in Databricks environment, including development and integrations
- Domain expertise in commercial data and analytics
- Experience managing product features for PI planning and developing product roadmaps and user journeys
Preferred skills and qualification
- SAFe for Teams certification (preferred)
- Experience with Spec-Driven Development
- Familiarity with low-code, no-code test automation software
- Experience with semantic modeling, knowledge graphs, and context engineering
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills to address complex data challenges applying AI/ML frameworks (e.g. LLM for GenAI, Agent Framworks)
