Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) is hiring Unarmed Corporate Security Officers for a private campus in Atherton, CA.
Shifts Available:
Full-time, 32 hours per week:
- Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Sunday through Wednesday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Sunday through Wednesday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Part-time, 24 hours per week, with overtime and coverage shifts available:
- Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Thursday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Residence within a 30-minute drive of Atherton for rapid response.
- Minimum five years of professional security experience. Corporate, executive protection, or private campus experience preferred.
- Active California BSIS Guard Card and current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification prior to hire.
- Ability to pass a full background investigation, California Live Scan fingerprinting, and a multipanel drug screen.
Core Duties:
- Patrol and access control. Conduct perimeter and facility rounds, manage visitors, verify badges, and monitor security systems.
- Emergency response. Stay composed under pressure and follow post orders and site protocols precisely.
- Documentation. Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using digital reporting software, email, and a smartphone.
- Availability. Dependable and punctual, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for most of an eight-hour shift, climb stairs regularly, and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. Coursework in criminal justice or security administration is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and proven discretion with sensitive information.
- Polished appearance, a service-focused approach, and sound conflict resolution skills.
- English and Spanish fluency is highly valued.
