- Provides support and assistance to leaders through collaboration with key strategic partners including Payor Strategies, Reimbursement, Revenue Excellence, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Integrated Clinical Services, Medical Group, Strategic Planning, Operations Excellence and others to streamline reporting, identify operational deficiencies, and achieve operational & performance goals.
- Serves as primary point of contact for ministry finance teams and assists with issue resolution and financial guidance. Reviews ministry budgets and provides financial insights and recommendations;
- Participates in monthly ministry close calls and serving as a finance liaison to ministry leadership teams.
- Prepares and summarizes Trinity system financial results and key performance indicators. Supports executive-level presentations and conducts detailed financial and operational analyses.
- Administers the Oracle EPM Planning applications, including budgeting and forecasting cycle management, data integrations, metadata maintenance, system updates, user security, and issue resolution to ensure reliable system performance and data accuracy.
- Optimizes and enhances planning and reporting capabilities through Oracle Essbase cube performance tuning, business rule development, reporting/dashboard maintenance, Smart View support, and user training, leveraging expertise in driver-based planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Facilitates system-wide budgeting and forecasting activities within Oracle Planning by providing system expertise, troubleshooting, reporting, and user guidance.
- Reviews ministry operating and capital annual plans, operational performance improvement plans, compensation plans, strategic financial plans, physician transactions and other investments providing analysis and feedback.
- Works closely with ministry finance teams to ensure financial integrity of submitted requests.
- Manages complex analyses, supports system-wide financial processes, serves as a key Oracle Planning resource, and collaborates directly with finance leadership and ministry stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of financial planning/financial operations experience in the health care industry or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
Additional Qualifications (nice to have)
- Exhibits strong financial planning, financial operations, systems expertise, and executive-level analytical support capabilities
- Healthcare experience preferred.
