Your Impact
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of software features within our microservices architecture. You will work closely with senior engineers to build robust, scalable solutions, gaining hands-on experience with our production tech stack. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our global partner network, helping to reduce operational friction and improve the partner experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain software features and product improvements for backend services with guidance from senior team members.
Contribute to distributed, highly available microservice architectures.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design discussions, code reviews, and testing.
Improve system performance, reliability, and observability by identifying and resolving technical issues.
Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate your productivity and learning.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product management, and SRE/DevOps teams.
Participate in incident resolution and learn from production issues through postmortems.
Commit to continuous learning, code quality, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent internship/project experience).
Foundational knowledge of backend development and production environments.
Solid understanding of software development and architecture concepts with a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Java, Node.js, JavaScript, or Python.
Exposure to web application frameworks and persistence technologies such as Spring, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Kafka.
Familiarity with Git, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous delivery.
Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Cursor, Copilot).
Eagerness to learn how to debug and resolve production issues.
Ability to apply creative skills to complex problems.
Flexible, thrives in diverse team environments, and communicates clearly and precisely.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and quality results.
