Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors testing processes by defining and implementing key performance metrics, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products. Collaboration and strategic oversight are central to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team and across projects.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with organizational goals and project requirements.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning among team members.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of testing activities.
- Support junior professionals by providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Automated Testing, Micro Focus LoadRunner, Neotys NeoLoad.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to design and execute performance test plans and analyze results to identify bottlenecks.
- Experience in integrating performance testing within continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and techniques to assess system behavior under load.
