Description
About the role
A facility team supporting multiple sites receives plenty of questions and requests every day. Luckily, there’s someone who keeps an overview, connects the right people and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Could that someone be you?
Based at our Aalst office, you’ll be the administrative backbone of the Facility team. You’ll keep a close eye on the shared mailbox and ticketing system, help colleagues with their questions and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. In short: you bring structure to the busy days and make things just that little bit easier for everyone.
Jan De Nul Group operates worldwide in dredging and offshore. We provide specialized services for the installation of subsea structures for the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. Our services include, among others, seabed preparation, dredging of trenches and stabilizing and ballasting them. Whether it concerns subsea pipelines, cables and umbilicals, or foundations, platforms and integrated wind farms, we always work tailored to the customer and, if desired, on an EPC basis. In addition, we also realize leading civil projects in Belgium, such as the Oosterweel connection, the A11, the Résidence Palace and the largest lock in the world in Antwerp.
What you’ll do
As the central point of contact for our different sites, you make sure that questions and requests quickly reach the right person. You manage the central mailbox and phone line, follow up on tickets on a daily basis and keep a clear overview at all times.
What will you do?
- You manage and follow up on the ticketing system and central mailbox.
- You are the first point of contact for facility-related questions, both by phone and email.
- You resolve practical issues independently or involve the right colleague when needed.
- You ensure smooth and efficient document management in SharePoint.
- You prepare meeting minutes, follow up on action points and prepare reports and overviews for dashboard meetings.
Who are you?
You are administratively strong, communicative and self-motivated. You are a real doer, able to keep an overview and switch smoothly between different questions and priorities.
In addition, you have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- A good command of Dutch and English;
- A good knowledge of French, or a willingness to learn and develop your French skills.
- Experience in a helpdesk, customer service or call centre environment is definitely a plus.
