Description
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Support the cleanliness of plant equipment and help maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
- Use high-pressure, high-temperature water hoses and approved cleaning chemicals to complete sanitation activities.
- Prepare production equipment for cleaning by following Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Complete routine and deep-cleaning tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule, including smokehouses, breakrooms, offices, and other facility areas.
- Support overnight Smokehouse Operators by moving trucks, loading and unloading ovens, and taking product temperatures.
- Complete required monthly safety, food safety, and operational training assignments.
- Use computer systems to document work activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work independently to complete assigned projects and daily responsibilities.
- Participate in plant safety initiatives and serve on safety teams as needed.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- 1+ years of manufacturing, sanitation, or related industrial experience.
- Knowledge of plant safety practices, sanitation procedures, and waste disposal methods.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and information tracking.
Physical Requirements
- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
