## What you’ll do:
The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Payroll Analysts and ensuring the timely, accurate, compliant, and customer-focused delivery of payroll input and payroll support activities across assigned countries within EMEA.
The role provides day-to-day operational leadership, workload management, coaching, and performance oversight while ensuring adherence to service level agreements, quality standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements. The Payroll Supervisor acts as the primary escalation point for operational payroll issues and drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee experience, efficiency, and service quality.
1\. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–6 Payroll Analysts.
- Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities.
- Ensure adequate resource allocation and business continuity coverage across the team.
2\. Operational Management
- Oversee daily payroll operations and workload distribution.
- Monitor completion of payroll activities within established deadlines and service level agreements.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related transactions.
- Coordinate payroll cycle activities and readiness reviews.
- Manage workload balancing across countries and team members.
- Act as the first escalation point for complex payroll cases and operational challenges.
3\. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, documented procedures, and payroll governance requirements.
- Monitor quality results and implement corrective actions where required.
- Support execution of quality audits and compliance reviews.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation actions.
4\. Employee & Customer Experience
- Ensure a high level of customer service and case resolution quality.
- Review recurring employee concerns and identify opportunities for proactive improvements.
- Partner with HR teams, payroll providers, and other stakeholders to resolve escalated issues.
5\. Performance Management & Reporting
- Monitor team productivity, quality, and service metrics.
- Analyze operational trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Utilize data-driven insights to improve team performance and service delivery.
6\. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Support payroll transformation projects, system enhancements, and process standardization initiatives.
- Partner with OPEX, SMEs, and leadership teams on continuous improvement activities.
- Encourage adoption of automation, self-service capabilities, and digital solutions.
- Support implementation of new countries, processes, and service transitions into HRS."
## Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Solid experience with Payroll and People management
## Skills:
- HR Operations, Project Management, CI, Payroll knowledge
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluency in English
- Strong influencing skills, Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships, work cross functionally
- Change management and process improvement mindset
- Solution orientated, Attention to detail
