Key Responsibilities
Service Pricing and Estimating
- Develop detailed cost estimates and customer pricing for commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency callouts, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment upgrades, and other service activities.
- Calculate labor, travel, materials, tools, subcontractor expenses, and other project-related costs.
- Establish standardized pricing for regular labor, overtime, weekends, holidays, emergency response, standby time, and travel.
- Review project requirements, customer specifications, scopes of work, and service-level agreements to identify pricing requirements and potential cost risks.
- Support the preparation of pricing for long-term service agreements, annual maintenance agreements, and warranty extensions.
- Develop pricing assumptions, exclusions, and commercial clarifications for inclusion in customer quotations.
- Evaluate completed projects by comparing estimated costs against actual results and recommend pricing adjustments when necessary.
Service Part Number Standardization
- Create and maintain standardized service part numbers within SAP or the applicable business system.
- Develop a consistent service part-number structure across product lines, service types, and Business Units.
- Maintain accurate descriptions, pricing, cost structures, and applicable service categories for each service part number.
- Identify duplicate, outdated, or inconsistent service part numbers and recommend corrective actions.
Business Unit and Product Coordination
- Gather current product price sheets, spare-parts lists, service requirements, and technical information from Delta Business Units.
- Work with Business Unit representatives and technical teams to understand product-specific commissioning and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a centralized database of product pricing, service intervals, estimated labor hours, required skills, tools, and spare parts.
- Track product and pricing updates to ensure service estimates reflect current requirements and costs.
- Identify missing pricing or product information and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders to resolve gaps.
Pricing Tools and Sales Support
- Develop and maintain standardized pricing sheets, cost models, templates, and estimating tools for use by Service Sales Managers.
- Provide Service Sales Managers with clear pricing guidance, including approved rates, margins, assumptions, and approval requirements.
- Support the sales team with timely and accurate pricing for customer proposals, contracts, renewals, and change orders.
- Help reduce quotation turnaround time by developing repeatable pricing models for frequently requested services.
- Maintain version control and communicate pricing updates to the Service Sales and Operations teams.
- Assist with training Service Sales Managers and other stakeholders on the proper use of pricing tools and service part numbers.
Financial and Operational Analysis
- Monitor estimated margins to ensure quotations align with company profitability expectations.
- Review historical service costs and completed-project data to improve future estimates.
- Analyze pricing trends across customers, regions, product lines, and service categories.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce delivery costs, and standardize service offerings.
- Develop reports and recommendations regarding service pricing performance, cost variances, and quote activity.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in service estimating, sales operations, field service, project costing, pricing, or a related function.
- Experience developing pricing for technical or field-based services.
- Strong understanding of labor rates, travel costs, materials, subcontractor costs, margins, and project-related expenses.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pricing models, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Experience supporting data center, power electronics, telecom, energy, EV charging, cooling, or other technical service environments is preferred.

Other Job Requirements:
- Ability to work extended periods at a desk using a computer and telephone.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, distinguish colors, stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

The base salary range for this full-time position is Fill External Salary Posting Range Here per year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
