Are you someone who loves bringing order to complexity and keeping projects moving forward? As a Project Coordinator, Accounting Transformation, you'll play a key role in supporting projects and initiatives that help drive continuous improvement across our accounting organization. You'll partner with project managers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to keep projects organized, on track, and running smoothly while gaining exposure to a variety of business and accounting initiatives.
This is an on-site position working a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in the office weekly) at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Your Recipe for Success
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
CAPM, PMP, Google Project Management Certificate, or similar project management training preferred. Willingness to obtain PMP certification upon hire.
Experience supporting projects, project coordination, or project management initiatives preferred
Experience in accounting, finance, accounts payable, or a related business environment preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience coordinating meetings, schedules, communications, and project documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
What's On Your Plate
Help coordinate project plans, timelines, schedules, and key milestones
Track project expenses and provide budget updates to support project success
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors
Maintain project documentation, reports, files, and related records
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including agendas and follow-up actions
Support quality assurance efforts by helping ensure deliverables meet expectations and deadlines
Maintain project and initiative portfolios and provide regular updates to leadership
Assist accounting teams and cross-functional partners during peak workload periods and special initiatives
Help keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving toward successful completion
