Description
iMentor Program Fellows are a unique leadership and professional development opportunity. Working an average of 8-10 hours a week from October through June, Fellows will support 11th and 12th grade programming at a partner high school and will specifically assist program managers with participant outreach, event preparation and support, and additional administrative tasks. Fellows will take part in training and professional development in September, with ongoing training and support throughout the year.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in education, youth development, or nonprofit. They will believe deeply in mentoring as a tool for youth success and be confident that, with the right support, a caring, committed adult can build a relationship with a student and support their post-secondary journey. They will demonstrate an enthusiasm for using their experiences with mentorship and/or as a mentee in iMentor programming to support and inspire the next generation of iMentor students. Working as an iMentor Fellow requires flexibility and adaptability as the primary responsibilities of the role will shift throughout the year.
