Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong.  Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

What this job involves:

As a Construction Project Manager at JLL, you'll be at the heart of transforming workplace environments through strategic space planning, graphic solutions, and construction initiatives. In this role, you'll develop innovative solutions for special projects that support business objectives, from minor construction needs to standalone enterprise-wide initiatives. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and you'll demonstrate this by coordinating seamlessly with multiple stakeholders—from client teams to vendors—to bring projects from concept through to successful completion. Your expertise in construction management and exceptional communication skills will be essential as you navigate complex coordination efforts, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure every project meets our standards for quality and efficiency. What sets JLL apart is our culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe, and you'll leverage this collaborative spirit to deliver cost-effective solutions that enhance our clients' spaces while maintaining compliance with building codes and accessibility standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Gather project requirements and develop comprehensive scopes of work that deliver viable, cost-effective, and efficient construction solutions

  • Lead project meetings, subject matter expert consultations, site walks, and punch list reviews while maintaining detailed documentation

  • Develop project schedules and vendor work authorizations, coordinating multiple trades to ensure seamless execution of combined construction efforts

  • Manage the client approval process by creating scopes of work, concept plans, cost estimates, and schedules that facilitate informed decision-making

  • Coordinate complex projects from initiation through execution, including ongoing follow-ups, success tracking, reporting, and escalation management when needed

  • Collaborate with furniture warehouse and management teams to assess furniture requirements and determine product availability for new and existing installations

  • Apply knowledge of local building codes to develop ADA-compliant plan options that meet both regulatory requirements and client needs

  • Set up vendors in various systems, verify compliance with client policies, and audit contract documentation for accuracy

  • Maintain project budgets, purchase orders, and change orders while managing vendor authorizations and invoice approvals to ensure timely payment

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience spanning facilities planning, interior design, move management, and project management

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD version 2019 or later

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven negotiation abilities

  • Solid customer service orientation and relationship-building skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within teams and across departments

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and quality

  • Proven technical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to take ownership of requests, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines

  • Valid driver license

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline

  • General knowledge of furniture manufacturers and their product offerings

  • Understanding of document management systems and project close-out processes

  • Experience implementing standard document filing programs and managing documentation throughout project lifecycles
