JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Housing Aide performs several duties to promote a positive patient experience at Shepherd Center. Accountabilities:
- Inspects linen for cleanliness and restocks if necessary.
- Notifies Housing Manager of any problems/maintenance issues identified during cleaning of units or public areas.
- Ensures that all apartments are correctly stocked for next guest.
- Cleans and stocks public restrooms and water fountains in accordance with procedures.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
- High school graduate preferred
REQUIRED MINIMUM CERTIFICATION
- None
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in hospitality or healthcare setting
REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLS
- Ability to work well with others
- Excellent customer service skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to walk easily throughout housing facilities, lift 35 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Physically cleaning facilities and performing simple maintenance tasks inside with heating and air conditioning.
- Occasionally outside when cleaning offsite apartments
