Description
The Head of Content & Thought Leadership at AutoStore will lead and shape the global Content & Thought Leadership function, currently a team of five. This role is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and operating model for how AutoStore builds authority, educates the market, and communicates value across the customer journey. The Head will collaborate closely with Brand, Product Marketing, PR, Community, Performance Marketing, Sales, and Regional Marketing teams. They will act as the organization's go-to expert on content strategy, thought leadership, editorial excellence, and content operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision and strategy for AutoStore's Content & Thought Leadership function, building a scalable, high-impact content engine.
- Develop and lead the global content and thought leadership strategy across audiences, channels, regions, and funnel stages.
- Own AutoStore's editorial architecture, content priorities, content pillars, and thought leadership agenda.
- Establish a coherent content system that supports awareness, education, consideration, conversion, retention, and advocacy objectives.
- Ensure content and thought leadership are effectively activated across social media, community programs, events, PR, regional marketing, sales enablement, and partner channels.
- Build and manage a scalable content production and content operations model, including planning, prioritization, governance, workflows, and quality standards.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Brand, Product Marketing, PR, Community, Performance Marketing, Sales, and regional teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Content & Thought Leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, editorial excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of content marketing experience across the full funnel.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Proven track record of building and scaling content marketing and thought leadership functions in B2B environments.
- Experience working in both startup/scale-up and mature, complex organizations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Experience developing content programs that support brand building, product launches, community engagement, demand generation, and commercial objectives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives for different audiences.
- Experience working with multi-channel content ecosystems, including social media, events, communities, owned channels, and AI-enabled content workflows.
- Logistics, supply chain, automation, robotics, or industrial technology experience preferred.
