About the role

As an SAP Life Sciences Manager at MSG, you will take on a key leadership role in shaping and delivering innovative SAP solutions for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries. You will act as both a strategic advisor and delivery lead, guiding complex transformation projects and ensuring regulatory-compliant, future-ready system landscapes.

You combine strong SAP expertise with industry knowledge in Life Sciences and enjoy working at the intersection of business, technology, and compliance-driven processes.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP transformation and implementation projects within the Life Sciences sector (pharma, biotech, medical devices)
• Act as trusted advisor for clients on SAP S/4HANA transformations, digitalisation strategies, and IT roadmaps
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery including scope, timeline, budget, and quality assurance
• Advise on and optimise core Life Sciences processes such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Serialization
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g. GxP, FDA, EMA requirements) within SAP solutions
• Lead functional and/or technical SAP teams, including onshore and offshore resources
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Support pre-sales activities, including proposal creation, estimations, and client presentations
• Contribute to business development and expansion of MSG’s Life Sciences SAP practice
• Mentor and develop consultants within project teams

Your profile

• University degree in Business, (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in SAP consulting or SAP project management, ideally within Life Sciences or regulated industries
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP PP, MM, QM, SD, or EWM
• Good understanding of regulated environments (GxP, CSV, validation processes)
• Proven experience in managing complex SAP projects or workstreams
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in client-facing consulting environments
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
