Hitachi Énergie est à la recherche d’un ingénieur en conception mécanique pour la fonction de développement de l’ingénierie du HUB en Amérique du Nord. Ce poste sera basé à notre établissement de Varennes, au Québec, au Canada. Responsabilités:
Dans un environnement d’ingénierie à la commande (ETO) concevoir l’arrangement mécanique des transformateurs conformément aux règles de l’art et aux normes applicables
Collaborer avec les superviseurs et les mentors pour développer vos compétences techniques et de leadership
Concevoir et/ou modifier des éléments mécaniques pour s'assurer de l'intégration sur site
Faire préparer et s'assurer de la validation des dessins de fabrication de tous les composants des transformateurs
S'assurer de la production des fiches de vérification spécifique aux différentes conceptions
Supporter, orienter et faire le suivi de la fabrication des différentes composantes des transformateur en fournissant l'information nécessaire afin de valider des montages mécaniques en tenant compte des requis manufacturiers
Qualifications:
DEC en génie mécanique
Bilinguisme (verbal et écrit, français et anglais)
Bonnes connaissances en tolérancement géométrique et dimensionnel
Connaissance des logiciels CAO 3D, l’expérience avec CREO (Pro/ENGINEER) sont des atouts
Intérêt pour les énergies renouvelables, le secteur de l’électricité et/ou les secteurs manufacturiers

General Information:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for the HUB Engineering Development function in North America. This position will be based at our facility in Varennes, Quebec, Canada. You will have the opportunity to learn the end-to-end engineering design process in support of the manufacturing plant. This position offers opportunities for in-depth, experiential learning in different engineering streams, such as the aspect of custom versus standardized design, value-based design, product cost optimization and much more. Responsibilities:
In an engineering-to-order (ETO) environment, design the mechanical arrangement of transformers in accordance with best practices and applicable standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and mentors to develop your technical and leadership skills
Design and/or modify mechanical elements to ensure on-site integration
Prepare and validate manufacturing drawings for all transformer components
Ensure the production of verification sheets specific to the various designs
Support, guide and monitor the manufacture of various transformer components, providing the information needed to validate mechanical assemblies in line with manufacturers' requirements.
Qualifications:
DEC in mechanical engineering
Bilingualism (verbal and written, French and English)
Good knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing
Knowledge of 3D CAD software, experience with CREO (Pro/ENGINEER) an asset
Interest in renewable energies, electricity and/or manufacturing sectors
