This position is off-campus and student employees must provide their own transportation to the site.
JOB TITLE: Data Analytics Associate at Cassia
PAY RATE: $18.00/hour
REPORTS TO: Donor Database Specialist
Shifts: Flexible; 10-15 hours a week during hours of operation M-Fr 8am-5pm
LOCATION(S): Cassia home office – 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439.
Position Summary:
As a member of the Cassia Foundation team, the Database Analytics Associate supports the Cassia Foundation through data entry, data cleaning, reporting, analyzing data, gift processing, and gift acknowledgement. The associate also works with Foundation team members on other administrative duties and miscellaneous projects to support all fundraising efforts. This role works closely with and is supervised by the Donor Database Specialist.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry: Accurately enter donor and donation information into the CRM database (Virtuous CRM). Unify data from additional sources including MatrixCare and Eldermark (resident databases) and the BetterUnite events platform to ensure a reliable source of truth for team members to leverage in their fundraising efforts.
Data Cleaning: Enhance the quality and reliability of critical information. May include but not limited to review and correction of incorrect/inaccurate mailing and email addresses, de-duplicating donor records, organizing data, and finding new address information using tools such as Whitepages.
Analyzing Data: Build insightful analytical reports within the CRM system. Analyze the performance and return of various fundraising efforts and campaigns. Design and construct data models. Craft informative data visualizations to drive insight discovery and decision-making.
Gift Processing: Process and accurately record physical and digital donations.
Gift Acknowledgements:
Create and send timely and accurate acknowledgements and receipts for donations. Assist in processing annual statements for specific groups of donors and employees. Aid the development of acknowledgement and receipt templates.
Other Support: Assist the Foundation team as needed in their day-to-day work. May include but is not limited to work with mailing lists for fundraising letters and emails, create flyers and other resources to support fundraising efforts and Cassia communities, support preparation for and execution of fundraising events, and documentation of procedures and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to enter data accurately and reliably.
- Comprehensive computer skills including using programs like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, including being willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A desire to learn about large database systems, data processes, data entry, and or data cleaning.
- An interest in analyzing data to help drive decision making and a greater impact.
- A desire to be part of an organization that enriches the lives of older adults.
