About Our Client
Our client is a growing and collaborative organization seeking an Assurance Manager to join their finance team. This role is 5 days a week in the office in Toronto.
Description
- Manage and oversee multiple audit, accounting, bookeeping, and tax engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
- Lead and coordinate engagement teams, planning, organizing, and delegating work to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Direct fieldwork and monitor engagement progress, identifying issues, managing priorities, and ensuring deadlines and professional standards are met
- Act as a key client contact, providing guidance and supporting the successful delivery of accounting, tax and assurance
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports while providing guidance and reviewing of work
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in Public Accounting
- CPA Designated
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
