POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities of the Box Office, including ticket sales, customer service, and Will Call during events.
HOURS OF WORK:
Available hours will vary by week and will depend on event and on-sale schedules.
Box Office staffing hours during the week on a non-event day are 9:30am-4pm. Event days will extend those hours. Weekends hours will vary by event but can run all day.
The majority of available hours will coincide with our event schedule; mostly evenings, nights and weekends and are important to the business. We are looking for someone that can work up to 5-15 hours per week, based on our event schedule, and have open availability for Box Office operating hours. The number of hours that are scheduled per week are based on a monthly event schedule and will vary.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:
Open and/or close ticket window as required;
Sell and distribute will call tickets for events using Ticketmaster software;
Answer customers’ questions promptly, courteously, and accurately both over the phone and at the ticket window;
Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance, and organized work space;
Maintain an energetic, professional, and polite relationship with co-workers, clients, and the public;
Perform related clerical work and other special assignments as requested;
Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma/GED;
Pass a Background Check in compliance with company policy
Basic knowledge of computer and point of sale technology
Previous Ticketmaster or venue box office experience preferred, but not required
Outgoing, friendly, and professional attitude for strong guest relations
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Must be able to follow directions, but work independently when needed
Work well with others in a team environment in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
Able to work most event hours which include nights and most weekends as assigned shifts dictate
Reliable transportation, punctual arrival, and consistent availability
Must practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete any company-wide safety training and any additional job specific training

COMPENSATION:
$14.84 an hour
