YOU WILL BE:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures

● Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
● Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
● Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility
● Track and store department inventory
● Move up to 50lbs with regular bending, lifting and reaching both below the waist and above the head along with pushing and pulling wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds, during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• High School diploma or equivalent

● 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
● 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
● 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment
● Ability to work in distribution environments that may be noisy and potentially work on roof top equipment in extreme temperatures
● 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
● 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
● Able to work with others as well as independently and be a self-starter
● Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload
● Understanding and knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets) information
● Background or experience in conveyor and forklift operation and repair

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:

The hourly pay rate for this position is between $25.00 - $31.25 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Salary Range $22.82 - $28.53*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
