Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy casual dining restaurant. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, hands-on, commercially aware, and capable of leading a team while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
* Lead, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff to achieve operational and service goals.
* Maintain high standards of customer service, food presentation, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
* Monitor restaurant sales, expenses, stock usage, and wastage.
* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene standards.
* Manage staff schedules, attendance, and shift assignments.
* Monitor inventory and coordinate effectively with the kitchen and procurement teams.
* Train and develop staff to improve service quality and performance.
* Prepare and submit daily/weekly operational reports to management.
* Support initiatives aimed at increasing sales, customer retention, and overall profitability.
Requirements
* HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience managing a restaurant, preferably in a structured dining environment.
* Proven experience supervising and managing a restaurant team.
* Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and inventory control.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Fine-dining experience will be an added advantage.
* Must be organized, professional, proactive, and customer-focused.
