The historic hotel showcases majestic Venetian architecture dating back to the 14th century. Guests can also enjoy spectacular views of Venice’s landmarks from the rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli.

About the Role

The Assistant Director of Housekeeping plays a key role in ensuring that all guest accommodations and public areas are maintained in impeccable condition, aligned with Four Seasons standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing daily operations, planning cleaning schedules, and partnering with the Front Office to guarantee timely room readiness and exceptional guest experiences.

What You Will Do

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to uphold Four Seasons quality standards.
• Personally check VIP, Elite, and repeat guest rooms to ensure personalized service and maintenance excellence.
• Support inventory management of cleaning supplies and amenities, maintaining accurate stock records.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety regulations.
• Lead and coach the housekeeping team, providing ongoing performance feedback and development.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in a management role within the Rooms Division or Housekeeping.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach with proven ability to manage teams and deliver high standards.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and prior experience in a unionized environment is an asset.

Schedule & Location

• Full-time position based at Hotel Danieli, Venice
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
