Customer Service Representative - Riverside, CA

• Pay Rate: $23/hour
• Location: Riverside Community Hospital (Riverside, CA)
• Schedule: Part-time Tues - Sunday, hours can range between 2:30p - 10:30p
• Requirements: must be able to work holidays and weekends!!

What will I do?

• Greet customer by name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Greet and assist customers and patients in lobbies.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude.
• Ensure visitors answer screening questions.
• Responsible for taking temperature of visitors, patients, and vendors and maintaining log of all interactions.
• Verify patient appointments.
• Provide patient with registration instructions or alternate entry into facility.
• Create positive first impression for everyone entering the hospital.
• Ensure all visitors, patients, and vendors are wearing appropriate PPE.
• Assist in assuring no children are permitted in hospital unless a patient or given special permissions.
• Oversee general maintenance of work area – sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
• Assist public safety with PBX/dispatch.

 Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

 Experience:

• Strong customer service experience.

Skills:

• Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations. 
• Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).   

 Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
