Job Description:
DXC Technology is a leading enterprise technology and innovation partner delivering software, services, and solutions to global enterprises and public sector organizations — helping them harness AI to drive outcomes at a time of exponential change with speed. With deep expertise in Managed Infrastructure Services, Application Modernization, and Industry-Specific Software Solutions, DXC modernizes, secures, and operates some of the world's most complex technology estates.
DXC's Insurance Software and BPS (ISB) helps insurers around the world modernize and run their core operations at scale by combining deep industry expertise, proven software platforms, and innovative AI-driven solutions. A global market leader in core insurance platforms, ISB delivers solutions across policy administration, claims, billing, analytics, and digital engagement supporting Life & Annuity, Property & Casualty, and Specialty insurance markets. You’ll directly shape how the world's leading insurers operate by helping to transform the policy, underwriting, and claims systems that millions of people rely on every day.
About The Role
The scope, complexity, and strategic importance of the DXC Customer Community and event portfolio have evolved significantly over the past several years. The responsibilities associated with this role now extend beyond traditional event planning and logistics execution to include strategic program management, executive stakeholder engagement, customer experience design, budget accountability, cross-functional leadership, and business outcome measurement.
As the organization continues to invest in customer engagement through executive forums, Customer Advisory Councils, customer communities, industry events, and flagship programs such as DXC Connect, the role requires a higher level of autonomy, decision-making authority, and strategic influence than was required when the position was originally classified.
What You´ll Do
Scope Expansion
The role is responsible for:
- Managing complex, multi-event programs across multiple geographies and customer segments.
- Coordinating executive-level engagement with customers, partners, sponsors, and DXC leadership.
- Driving cross-functional alignment across marketing, sales, industry teams, customer success, operations, and external vendors.
- Leading event planning timelines, governance processes, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Supporting revenue, customer retention, advocacy, and community-building objectives through event and engagement programs.
- Managing increasingly sophisticated event technologies, data insights, and attendee engagement strategies.
- Measuring business impact and providing post-event reporting tied to organizational goals.
Strategic Impact
This role directly contributes to:
- Strengthening customer relationships and executive engagement.
- Increasing customer retention and advocacy opportunities.
- Supporting pipeline development and growth initiatives through customer-facing programs.
- Enhancing DXC's brand reputation and market presence.
- Delivering high-visibility experiences attended by senior customer executives and DXC leadership.
Because these programs are highly visible and closely aligned with DXC's customer engagement strategy, the role requires an individual capable of operating at a more strategic level than a traditional event coordinator or planner role.
Market and Talent Considerations
To attract and retain candidates with the experience required to manage enterprise-scale customer engagement programs, executive forums, advisory councils, and global event initiatives, the position should be aligned to a higher job level that reflects current market expectations and the complexity of the work.
Maintaining the historical level may limit the ability to recruit qualified candidates with the strategic planning, stakeholder management, and program leadership capabilities necessary for success.
