Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization when required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
