Combining structured learning with practical site experience, you’ll work alongside experienced consultants across London, the South East and wider UK, including historic buildings and complex industrial environments.
Your Impact in this position
Help protect building users, employees, contractors and the public by developing the skills to undertake asbestos surveys, air monitoring and analytical work. As your experience grows, you’ll take on greater responsibility, working towards independent practice through successful training, competence assessments and internal authorisation within Tetra Tech’s UKAS-accredited systems.

- Communication and Client Service – Build effective working relationships and communicate professionally with clients, contractors, colleagues and the public.
- Problem Solving and Digital Capability – Interpret technical data, maintain reliable records and use digital tools to resolve challenges.
About You
You take safety seriously and understand the importance of following procedures properly. Working to strict rules, method statements, and risk assessments feels natural to you, and you don’t cut corners. You’re calm, focused, and able to stay composed even in regulated environments where inspections, audits, or oversight are part of the job.
You can work independently once trained, taking responsibility for your tasks, but you also communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors to make sure work is completed safely and correctly. You’re motivated by doing work that matters — contributing to environmental safety, compliance, and protecting public health.
