Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Housekeeper to be a part of our amazing team!

Clean all areas of a 110-bed adult Psychiatric Hospital.  Clean patient bedrooms and bathrooms, exam rooms, eating areas, recreational areas, common areas, hallways, employee offices and work areas.  Cleans furniture and equipment.  Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff hard floors. Sweep and shampoo carpets. Follows Infection Control procedures to sanitize areas.  Cleans windows and mirrors.  Holiday, weekend, and rotating shift work is required for this position.

The hospital holds accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is certified by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Through ongoing collaboration with Marshall University’s Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry, a variety of medical and clinical professionals partner with the hospital’s own staff to work diligently with patients to achieve a smooth transition back to the community after discharge.
