This Print Production Manager will turn our beautiful design-led print ideas into consistent, scalable, commercially viable product. We have very high standards for quality, and this role is key to us delivering this.
Location: 4 days per week at our North Acton office, 1 working from home.
What You Will Do
- Turn signed-off print concepts into production-ready artworks and finished womenswear product.
- Own print execution from artwork and strike-offs through to bulk production, keeping approvals on the critical path.
- Protect colour, definition, repeat scale and consistency across fabrics, solids and coordinating garments.
- Ensure prints align with garment patterns and grade placement prints using 3D or AI tools where required.
- Approve artworks and strike-offs, resolving production issues quickly and practically.
- Choose and manage the right print method, including screen, digital, placement and engineered techniques.
- Negotiate with mills and suppliers to protect quality, cost and intake margin.
- Optimise print direction, repeats and nesting to reduce fabric waste, reprints and rejects.
- Build strong cross-functional and supplier relationships to deliver monthly newness on time.
- Use sales, margin, markdown and returns data to improve print execution and commercial performance.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven fashion print-production experience from end-to-end, ideally in womenswear.
- Strong technical knowledge of artwork, strike-offs, colour matching, repeats, placement and engineered prints.
- Hands-on experience liaising with multiple mills, print houses, factories and suppliers.
- An excellent taste level and a sharp eye for print, colour, consistency and quality.
- Sound understanding of garment construction, pattern alignment and how fabric affects print results.
- Commercial confidence in cost negotiation, margin protection, fabric efficiency and production risk.
- Experience managing long, complex critical paths and delivering ranges to deadline.
- An adaptable, detail-focused approach with the confidence to move between technical detail and senior-level updates.
- Outgoing and collaborative, with a track record of building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experience with PLM, 3D or AI production tools is an advantage.
Our Behaviours
- At Boden, how we work matters just as much as what we deliver.
- We keep things simple. We say what we mean, keep each other in the loop, and follow through on what we’ve said we’ll do.
- We care about doing a good job – and we care about each other.
- We’re always kind, often honest, and we will push for high standards without making it heavy.
