VARIOUS LABOR POSITIONS (BC-02/BC-03) [multiple vacancies]

	BUILDING CUSTODIAN I Salary: $4,534/month (BC-02) Performs routine manual work in cleaning and maintaining the interior of a public building; performs heavy lifting and simple maintenance repair work as required; and performs other related duties as required. May be required to work weekends, nights and holidays.
	GROUNDS KEEPER Salary: $4,534/month (BC-02) Maintains lawns and landscaped areas, cleans comfort stations, collects refuse in parks/recreation areas. May do heavy lifting and minor repairs. May be required to work weekends, nights and holidays.
	LABORER I / LABORER II Salary - Laborer I: $4,534/month (BC-02) Salary - Laborer II: $4,662/month (BC-03) Digs and backfills holes and trenches; loads, moves and unloads dirt materials and equipment and does other heavy manual work and/or various semi-skilled manual work.
	UTILITY WORKER I Salary: $4,662/month (BC-03) Performs various janitorial, grounds keeping and unskilled or semi-skilled work such as setting up floor panels, stage equipment and platforms, may do heavy manual work; and performs other related duties as required.

Current vacancies include the following:

• Ten (10) Grounds Keeper vacancies with the Department of Parks and Recreation.
• Four (4) Grounds Keeper vacancies with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply. 
• Anticipated Utility Worker I vacancies with the Department of Facility Maintenance.
