Role Responsibilities
-
Driving Operational Optimization & Analytics: Analyzing multi-source datasets to identify operational bottlenecks and implementing process improvements that reduce cost-to-serve and lower order cancellation rates
-
Leading Pilot Execution & Scaling: Designing, executing, and scaling operational pilots and A/B tests alongside Product and Supply teams to optimize dispatch logic, courier incentives, and merchant onboarding workflows, establishing repeatable playbooks across key cities
-
Owning Performance Management & Executive Reporting: Building automated operational dashboards and delivering data-backed reviews to senior leadership, tracking performance against key SLAs, contribution margins, and execution milestones to drive accountability and resource reallocation
-
Managing Cross-Functional Projects End-to-End: Leading the execution of high-priority strategic initiatives, aligning Commercial Operations, Product, and Field teams around strict timelines, risk mitigation, and target operational KPIs
-
Championing Process Automation & Scalability: Partnering with Product and Local Ops to standardize, automate, and document core operational workflows—transitioning manual ad-hoc fixes into scalable systems that streamline regional expansion and daily execution
Role Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
-
Analytical skills: Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets using SQL and Excel, and to build quantitative models that translate into business decisions in high-transaction environments
-
Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Python, PowerBi, and experimentation platforms to design tests and present results to stakeholders
-
Strategic thinking: Demonstrated experience synthesizing key performance metric results into clear strategic recommendations for optimizations
-
Project execution: Track record of leading cross-functional projects from concept to scale with strong stakeholder management, clear timelines, and measurable impact delivery
-
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive-level presentations and translating technical analysis into actionable business terms
-
Personal qualities: Proactive, results-oriented, and collaborative with a bias for experimentation, comfortable working in fast-paced and rapid-change environments typical of DiDi’s global operations
-
Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, analytics, or engagement roles at a tech platform, consultancy, or mobility company, with experience in scaling pilots across multiple cities or regions preferred
