Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, Subscription Management with a strong background in full stack development to design, build, and maintain secure, high-performing applications and APIs. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners, including Product and Design teams, to shape the user experience, deliver new features, and support production services used by both customers and internal teams.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer who is comfortable working across the full technical stack, owning features from design through deployment, and resolving production issues within an enterprise SaaS environment.

Contract Length: Min 4 months
Pay: $50-$55 on T4
- Design and build secure, performant, cross-platform browser-based applications for customer-facing and internal users.
- Design, implement, and maintain backend REST APIs that support subscription management features.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define, refine, and optimize the user experience.
- Build new features and maintain existing ones by contributing across the full technical stack, from front end to database.
- Define and implement testing strategies across unit, integration, system, UI, and end-to-end levels.
- Work within standard CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, repeatable builds and deployments.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, implementing durable fixes and preventive improvements.
- Maintain code quality, security, and performance standards across all delivered work.
- 4+ years of direct, relevant experience in:
- REST API design and implementation.
- Full stack development of production-ready services and features.
- Testing and designing testing strategies (Unit, System, UI, E2E).
- Standard CI/CD pipelines.
- 2+ years of recent, relevant experience in:
- JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Node.js frameworks (Express, HapiJS).
- Front-end frameworks (React, MobX).
- Relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Unit and integration testing with Jest.
- End-to-end (E2E) testing.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with Product, Design, and engineering peers.
Preferred
- Experience building subscription management, billing, or entitlement features.
- Experience developing applications for both external customers and internal enterprise users.
- Experience working in large-scale, security-focused enterprise SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
