A Shift (United States of America)Summary
This position is responsible for supporting effective inventory control and parts room operations. Primary responsibilities include issuing parts, tools, and equipment; maintaining accurate inventory records; assisting with physical inventory counts; and tracking inventory activity.
The position requires attention to detail, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue and track parts, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Perform and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Monitor and track inventory transactions.
- Maintain organized and legible records.
- Use basic computer systems to support inventory and recordkeeping activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Inventory experience
- Maintenance background
- Knowledge of maintenance tools
- Forklift experience
Required/Job-Related Skills
- Basic computer skills-
- Good math skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and legible records
- Excellent communication skills- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance team members specific parts
- Ability to perform inventory counts, recordkeeping, and tracking duties
