Description

Overview

A private family in Menlo Park, California is seeking an experienced, warm nanny/family assistant to care for their 3-year-old daughter and welcome a new baby expected in March 2027.

This is a Monday through Friday position, 40 to 55 hours per week, with the final schedule worked out together with the selected candidate. Candidates who want to regularly work around 45 hours will be an ideal fit. The household values calm and a relaxed rhythm over rigid structure. Housing is flexible, with live-in or live-out options available. For the live-in option, a private house is provided where the nanny can stay, located in the center of town within a 10-minute drive of the work site.

  • Communicate openly with the parents about routines, milestones, and daily updates

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience, with experience in infant and toddler care strongly preferred
  • Newborn experience is a plus.
  • Candidates must be comfortable around breastfeeding and breast milk
