Position Overview
Minden Medical Center is hiring a well-organized, energetic LPN/CMA to support our Haughton Clinic on a full-time, days schedule. This role is essential to keeping clinic flow smooth and ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.
Key responsibilities include supporting providers with clinical tasks, preparing patients for visits, performing ordered treatments and injections, completing accurate documentation and EMR updates, monitoring for medication reactions, and coordinating timely communication with physicians and patients.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Current Louisiana LPN license required
- 1 year of physician office experience preferred
- Preferred equipment/software familiarity: spirometer, glucometer, stethoscope, exam tables, BP cuffs, wheelchairs, fax/copier, computer/telephone, Athena Software

A Typical Clinic Day
Your day is paced by patient flow: you welcome patients as rooms open, keep spaces clean and stocked, and stay one step ahead by reviewing charts for results and flagging abnormalities before close of business. Between visits, you keep the clinical inbox moving so urgent items are addressed within 30 minutes, and you help patients and families understand what to expect from office or hospital procedures. You’ll shift smoothly from hands-on care to detailed documentation, assist with outbound calls and same-day messages to providers, and stay calm when the unexpected happens. As the day wraps, you protect patient information with a tidy workspace and help the clinic stay ready for tomorrow.
