Solutions Architect, Robotics: Wildflower is seeking a Solutions Architect to develop robotic solutions for inspection, security, hazardous environments, and industrial operations, with an initial focus on our partnership with Ghost Robotics and its Vision 60 platform. We welcome candidates with experience working with Ghost Robotics, Boston Dynamics, humanoid robotics, autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robots, manufacturing robotics, or warehouse automation, whether gained at a manufacturer, systems integrator, or organization deploying these technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong practical experience in areas such as robotic systems integration, autonomy, AI and machine vision, sensors and payloads, manipulation, communications, or fleet management, together with the ability to apply that expertise to new platforms. Working closely with Business Development, customers, and technology partners, this architect will assess operational challenges, determine where robotics can deliver measurable value, and develop solution designs, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and accurate customer quotes. The role requires sound judgment about technical capabilities, safety, integration requirements, and deployment limitations, along with a commitment to becoming the SME for assigned robotics technologies and helping expand Wildflower’s offerings as the field advances.
Position Summary: The Solutions Architect (SA) serves as Wildflower’s technical expert within an assigned technology discipline, working with Business Development to translate customer needs and operational challenges into practical, supportable solutions. The role leads technical discovery, develops solution designs, and prepares customer quotes in coordination with sales and partner teams. Proposed solutions must address the customer’s mission or business objectives, technical environment, budget, and implementation requirements. The Solutions Architect combines deep subject matter expertise with knowledge of Wildflower’s capabilities and technology partners to determine how customer problems can be solved. This position supports both established and emerging technologies, maintains current knowledge of artificial intelligence and its applications, and helps customers evaluate technology decisions. Each position includes an additional Technology Focus and Role Specific Requirements section defining its specialty.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Technology Focus and Role Specific Requirements
Each position will have one or more assigned technology focus areas, such as Robotics, Data Center, Networking, AI, End User Computing, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Mission Critical Communications, or Counter-UAS. All Solutions Architects are expected to be cross trained across Wildflower’s full portfolio of solutions while serving as the subject matter expert (SME) in their assigned technology area or areas. The role-specific section will define applicable platforms, partner technologies, technical competencies, certifications, and any additional customer or operational requirements. These requirements supplement the common responsibilities and qualifications above.
