Description
Employment Type: Full-Time
- Provide compassionate, professional, and respectful care to clients.
- Assist elderly, disabled, ill, injured, or newborn clients with daily activities.
- Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
- Assist with mobility, walking, transfers, and transportation as required.
- Support clients with prescribed medications as directed and within the scope of the role.
- Assist with physical therapy exercises and mobility activities as instructed.
- Prepare and serve meals according to the client's dietary requirements.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Assist with shopping, errands, appointments, and other daily activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the client's care and comfort.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition, concerns, or unusual incidents promptly.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain client confidentiality, privacy, dignity, and professional boundaries at all times.
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or in a similar care-related role.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response.
- CPR certification or relevant training is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy and dignity.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility and daily care activities.
- Willingness to follow professional, health, safety, and care standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
