As a Nuclear Med Tech, you are responsible for the following:
● Operates and maintains nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
● Performs imaging of the body to assist Radiologists in diagnosis of disease or injuries.
● Can prepare and administer Radiopharmaceuticals with attention to quality and safety.
In addition to the above, the Nuclear Med Tech will also properly enter patient/exam data into the Radiology Information System and produce permanent record of diagnostic examinations.
Qualifications for this position include:
● Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
● ARRT and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
