AI Governance & Process Automation Intern – HQ Stockholm, Sweden

This is an internship for an active student with expected graduation from late 2027 or later of related Bachelor or Master programs at Swedish and European universities.

About the role:

The CIO Office & Transformation team is looking for a highly motivated intern to help us simplify, automate, and modernize how IT governance is executed across the company.

Our mission is straightforward: maintain strong governance standards, risk management, and compliance while ensuring that regions can move quickly and deliver value. We believe that governance should accelerate progress, not create bureaucracy.

As an intern, you will help shape and implement the next generation of governance processes using AI, automation, analytics, and digital workflow tools. You will work closely with senior transformation leaders and contribute to real global initiatives from day one. This is not a role for someone who wants to observe from the sidelines. We are looking for a builder, a problem-solver, and a self-starter who enjoys turning ideas into practical solutions.

What you’ll work on:

• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate governance processes, workflows, and controls.
• Support the development of the AI Demand & Investment Concierge vision, helping embed governance into day-to-day work.
• Analyze current demand management, portfolio management, investment planning, and governance processes and recommend improvements.
• Build prototypes, automations, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and ServiceNow.
• Help create automated validations, process guidance, and readiness checks that reduce manual effort and improve compliance.
• Support governance forums with insights, reporting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Partner with business, regional, and technology stakeholders to understand pain points and remove friction from processes.
• Document processes, standards, and best practices to improve transparency and scalability.
• Contribute to AI governance, demand management, workforce transformation, and operating model initiatives.

We offer the possibility of hosting a Bachelor or Master thesis project. The topic should be developed in alignment with the people leader of the position and relevant for Electrolux Group.

Who you are:

We are looking for someone with a profile similar to the way our team operates:

• Active Bachelor's or Master's student in Engineering, Business & Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain, Digital Transformation or related field.
• You must remain an active student throughout the entire internship period with expected graduation date from late 2027 or later.
• Experience is not required for our internships, but any exposure to Copilot, Power BI, Service Now, Data Analytics, Process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous improvement) is a plus.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable taking ownership and working independently.
• Interested in AI, automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
• A hands-on problem solver who enjoys turning ideas into action.
• Confident communicating and collaborating with different stakeholders.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
• Analytical, collaborative, and motivated to challenge existing ways of working to drive better results.

Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Sweden for the full duration of the internship at the time of application. You must remain enrolled as an active student throughout the entire internship period and be expected to graduate in late 2027 or later.

Where you’ll be:

You will be based in Stockholm, our modern global Headquarter, with 1200+ colleagues on site. We work in a hybrid setup that gives everyone up to 20% flexibility to work remotely, while boosting creativity and collaboration through regular office presence. The work contract is full-time and limited to 6 months, with monthly compensation of 21,000 SEK for Bachelor students and 22,000 SEK for Master students.
