We're looking for a Senior Compliance Executive to join our Dublin team.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll work across the full range of regulatory compliance. You won’t be focused on just one area.
You'll help us keep pace with continued business growth, acquisitions and an evolving regulatory landscape.
You'll support the team with day-to-day compliance activities, regulatory change, stakeholder engagement and practical business advice.
This role is hybrid. You’ll work three days a week in the office and two days from home. We’re open to different office day patterns, as long as you’re in the office three days each week.
How you'll make an impact
You’ll help the business stay on top of regulatory change and manage compliance risks well.
You’ll:
- monitor compliance with Irish regulatory requirements
- review processes and spot gaps early
- give clear, practical advice to the business
- update policies and procedures
- support investigations, breaches, and follow-up actions
- help deliver training and awareness across the business
- produce reports and updates for leaders and stakeholders
- track new and upcoming rules and assess what they mean for us
- work with senior colleagues, regulators, auditors, and other key partners
You’ll need to manage several priorities at once. The work is varied. Some days will be fast-moving. Others will need calm, careful judgement.
About you
We’d love to hear from you if you bring:
- the LCI qualification — this is essential
- proven compliance experience in insurance — this is essential
- strong knowledge of the Central Bank of Ireland framework
- experience with the Consumer Protection Code, Minimum Competency Code, Fitness & Probity, and AML
- broad compliance experience across multiple regulatory areas rather than a single compliance specialism
- strong organisation and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- a practical, steady approach to problem-solving
- the ability to apply regulatory requirements in a practical and commercial way
- the confidence to challenge constructively, explain regulatory requirements clearly and build trusted relationships across the business
It would also be great if you have:
- CIP
- QFA
- experience in a busy, changing environment
- a good understanding of the business side of insurance, as well as the regulatory side
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. If you meet the core criteria and feel you’d do well in this role, we’d encourage you to apply.
