Providence Medical Center, located near I-435 and Parallel Pkwy. Kansas City, Kansas is seeking an experienced  board-certified Hospitalist to join the hospitalist team as a day-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working inpatient care.  Candidates must be comfortable working as supervising physicians for advanced practice providers on the team.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist who is committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

 

Position Highlights

• 7-on / 7-off block schedule
• Day shift only (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• 12-hour shifts
• Shared call responsibilities serving as backup for nighttime NP coverage

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Minimum two years of post-residency hospitalist experience
• MD or DO with unrestricted Kansas medical license (or eligible)
• Current DEA registration
• BLS or ACLS certification

This position is not open to new graduates.
