Description
Nasdaq is looking for a passionate Analyst - Sales Development Representative (SDR), to drive outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. You will join Nasdaq FinTech's APAC revenue organisation, based in Mumbai. If you're commercially curious and want to build a career in B2B financial technology sales, this is the place for you!
Reporting to the APAC Head of Business Development, you will generate qualified pipeline across financial institutions. You will start by focusing on India, with scope to expand your coverage across APAC as the role grows. You will engage stakeholders at banks, brokers, exchanges and market infrastructure providers, each crafted by its own regulatory agenda and buying dynamics.
This is a sales development role. You will focus on opening doors and qualifying opportunities for our Account Executives. You won't be closing deals or carrying a revenue quota.
With this position we offer
You will join the Nasdaq FinTech APAC revenue organisation and help build our presence in India, with the opportunity to extend into wider APAC markets over time. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Partners and Solution Directors across capital markets, treasury, risk, regulatory reporting and surveillance solutions. You will get structured onboarding and training in Nasdaq FinTech solutions and APAC market dynamics. You will also be mentored by the APAC Head of Business Development, use a modern sales stack (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Microsoft Copilot), and have a clear development path within Nasdaq.
Role Responsibilities:
As an BDR, your focus will be on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for Nasdaq FinTech, starting in India. You will work closely with colleagues in Mumbai and with Sales, Marketing and Solution teams across APAC.
- Own monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline across India and priority APAC campaigns, contributing directly to regional growth objectives.
- Develop and execute account-based prospecting strategies: map target accounts and buying committees, and identify key stakeholders and the business and regulatory initiatives behind them.
- Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, event follow-up, and collaboration with Marketing and Partner teams.
- Partner with Account Executives and Solution Directors to execute coordinated account plans, hold discovery conversations and book qualified meetings.
- Use Salesforce, sales intelligence and AI-assisted tools to prioritise accounts, research prospects, personalise outreach and keep pipeline data accurate.
We expect you to have:
Experience Level: 1 to 4 years in sales development (SDR/BDR), ideally in enterprise solutions

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
It would be excellent if you
- Experience in financial technology, capital markets, treasury, risk management, or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing or selling strategies and sales intelligence platforms.
- Experience using automation or AI-assisted tools to improve research and prospect engagement.
