Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

• Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and address bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and track project budgets, ensuring cost control and efficiency.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and float inquiries to vendors.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate contracts, and finalize purchase orders.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites.
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers and explore new vendors for cost-effective solutions.

Communication & Coordination:

• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and internal teams for necessary approvals and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including land lease agreements and project permissions.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve execution challenges and ensure alignment with project schedules.

Billing & Payment Processing:

• Oversee project billing, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments while maintaining credit terms.
• Manage cash flow planning for procurement and project execution.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Keep updated with the latest developments in solar energy technologies and policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar projects.
• Experience in procurement, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
• Familiarity with regulatory approvals and compliance for solar power projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or other project management tools.
