Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride.
You help manufacturing line leaders deliver on Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets to ensure processes run smoothly by coaching line teams and using tools to eliminate losses, troubleshoot line problems and improve systems.
How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in helping us change how the world snacks. You will work closely with line leaders to ensure that Mondelēz International meets our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets on our manufacturing lines to ensure processes run smoothly. Most of your time will be spent working independently on the manufacturing floor, identifying and fixing problems, improving systems, and being responsible for your equipment, but you will also be responsible for statistical processing control and will lead small-group activities to build line team capabilities to eliminate losses.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- Continuous improvement as it relates modern manufacturing concepts, total productive maintenance and Six Sigma
- Leading and coaching line teams
- Handling challenging interpersonal situations and influencing people in a union environment
- Communicating verbally and in writing with attention to detail
- Handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word) and experience with SAP is preferable
More about this role
Centerline (CL) Management
- Own and maintain the Centerline system content, including the Equipment Bible, to stabilise assets and improve line performance
- Define machine settings and train operators on cause-and-effect relationships between settings and downtime
- Manage daily completion and compliance checks, ensuring standards are in place before the R2S daily meeting
Loss Analysis & Priority Setting
- Set daily, weekly and monthly priorities by analysing machine losses and identifying the top 3 losses against targets
- Lead the Baseline Assessment (BLA) process, allocating loss targets per machine and driving GAP-to-target reviews
- Direct team focus across unplanned, planned and auxiliary losses to close performance gaps
Changeover Optimisation (RCO/SMED)
- Analyse changeover losses and set proper targets based on line nature and portfolio complexity
- Organise and facilitate RCO workshops with the operating team and Line Trio
- Train all operators in the new Way of Working and track changeover compliance versus target
Troubleshooting & Focused Improvement
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for chronic losses, engaging shift technicians and operators across all shifts
- Coach the Line Trio and operating team in troubleshooting tools, including advanced methods (e.g. slow-motion camera analysis)
- Manage the FI Skill Matrix for operators and contribute to FI Pillar standards and solutions across the site
What extra ingredients you will bring
- Proven experience in an IL6S / TPM manufacturing environment, ideally within FMCG
- Strong data-analysis skills: comfortable working with loss data, run charts and GAP-to-target reporting
- Hands-on knowledge of Centerline management, SMED/RCO methodology and Root Cause Analysis tools
- Ability to coach and develop shopfloor teams, building problem-solving capability at operator level
- Familiarity with working within a Line Trio structure (Line Leader, Process Engineer, Quality)
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with Pillar teams (PM, AM, FI, E&T and others)
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or related field) or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a process engineering or continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC and IL6S/TPM tools is a strong advantage
- Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
Working conditions
- Based at the Mondelēz International Namur plant (Belgium)
- Primarily shopfloor-based, working independently across manufacturing lines
