Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Documentation in Forest Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a cultural institution.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
