Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment while documenting security-related activities using computer and/or tablet tools. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
