Description
There is an opportunity to join an established Ophthalmology practice that is looking to add a Full-Time Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. Patients and cases will be handed down from one of the current surgeons. The practice is currently comprehensive in scope but has a fair refractive volume – practice is willing to teach the new associate refractive procedures. Area has many ophthalmologists who are slowing down and readying for retirement meaning there will be huge growth potential over the new few years.
Surgical volume should be quickly or immediately at least 10 cases per week and done in an ASC adjacent to the main clinic. The practice has an OD that can co-manage cases with the associate if they like. Practice currently does do medical retina but is open to adding it should a new associate wish to do it.
Practice will offer a base salary and favorable production bonus incentive. Production bonus should increase greatly over the years with other ophthalmologist retiring in the area.
Requirements: M.D./D.O. and Board Certified/Eligible.
