Registered Nurse – Urology Clinic

Location: Main Clinic, 3rd Floor | La Crosse, WI
FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per two weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday with one day off per week, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | No evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Starting Pay: $31.98/hour (higher based on experience)

About the Role

Join our growing Urology Clinic team and enjoy a specialty position that offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to work at the top of your scope. As an RN, you’ll provide a mix of patient education, nurse-only visits, and phone triage support while working with a fun, supportive team. You’ll collaborate with multiple departments to deliver exceptional care for patients with complex needs.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct nurse-only visits for pre-op and post-op care, including wound care and catheter placement/changes
• Manage phone triage and in-basket messaging
• Provide extensive patient and family education
• Perform hands-on care, including device placement checks and catheter care
• Work at the top of your scope with complex patients and upcoming conscious sedation plans
• Collaborate with departments including Internal Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Wound Center, Family Medicine, General Surgery, and the Cancer Center

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

• Active RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Preferred:

• At least one year of RN experience
• A collaborative mindset, integrity, and a love for teaching
• Ability to work with others, to be team-centric, and easily adapt to changing needs
