This position offers the opportunity to care for pediatric patients across the full spectrum of burn, wound, reconstructive, and rehabilitative care while working alongside a highly specialized multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and compassionate, family-centered care.

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will work closely with Burn Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Mass General Brigham (MGB) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) teams to support the care of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with complex burn injuries, scars, congenital differences, and reconstructive needs. The role provides exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad clinical practice spanning acute inpatient care, outpatient management, perioperative care, and long-term follow-up.

Candidates with experience in pediatric burn care, pediatric surgery, pediatric critical care, pediatric emergency medicine, wound care, plastic surgery, or related specialties are encouraged to apply. Exceptional new graduates with relevant clinical experience will also be considered.

This is a part-time position working three 10-hour daytime shifts per week, scheduled between 6:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexible scheduling is available, though regular Friday availability is required. There are no night, weekend, holiday, or call responsibilities, offering an excellent work-life balance within a highly specialized pediatric practice.

  • Facilitate effective communication among patients, families, physicians, consultants, and care team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives that support excellence in pediatric burn and reconstructive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and professional standards.
