Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Visitor Processing in Pine Brook, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in an aerospace and defense location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badging activities, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment through clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, and manage visitor registration in accordance with facility requirements.
• Support access-control processes by issuing and collecting visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and reporting access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence and communicate observations, requests, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
