Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Support Manager to lead onsite operations at one of our major Gulf Coast refining customers. This role requires a strong background in industrial management combined with hands-on expertise in the valve service industry. The ideal candidate will oversee field teams, resources, and project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost control. You will serve as the primary onsite leader responsible for balancing multiple concurrent outages and routine maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team & Resource Leadership: Direct and manage the onsite team of technicians, along with company trucks, trailers, and tooling. Ensure efficient utilization of all resources while prioritizing safety and quality in every aspect of daily operations.
• Outage Planning & Execution: Lead comprehensive outage preparation and execution, including site walkdowns, staffing plans, material coordination, detailed scheduling, logistics, shop repair oversight, and proactive customer communication.      Effectively manage multiple simultaneous outages and routine work scopes.
• Routine Maintenance Management: Oversee ongoing maintenance activities, including staffing, material management, scheduling, shop repair coordination, and clear communication with the customer.
• Technical Troubleshooting & Repair Planning: Apply advanced valve troubleshooting expertise to accurately diagnose issues and develop precise repair plans for field technicians.
• Engineering Collaboration: Partner with internal engineering and technical teams to develop practical solutions to complex problems and work directly with customers to implement them successfully.
• Cost & Asset Management: Monitor employee time and productivity, protect company assets, and maintain strong cost consciousness across all site activities.
• Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary onsite point of contact with the customer, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication. Utilize strong organizational and scheduling skills to keep multiple projects on track. You will be the essential link between the customer, our shop, and the sales staff. 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the valve service industry
• Strong background in industrial management or field supervision
• Demonstrated ability to manage technicians, equipment, and multiple concurrent projects in a refining or heavy industrial      environment
• Solid troubleshooting skills specific to industrial valves, with the ability to create accurate repair plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and scheduling tools)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and scheduling abilities
• Cost-conscious mindset with experience protecting company assets and managing labor productivity
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended hours during outages
• Customer first approach. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting major Gulf Coast refining customers
• 5+ Years of managing service teams in Industrial settings
• Familiarity with outage planning, logistics, and multi-project coordination in a field service setting
• Prior experience collaborating with internal engineering teams on technical solutions
